I am selling a new (with tags) Gul Taw dry suit, I had good intentions but they never came to fruition. Asking $650. Item is currently on Bowen but I can get it back to the mainland as needed.

Kallie CunninghamWhile we have the minimum numbers required to run the Apr 29 afternoon Intro to Rolling Clinic, and the morning VHF Radio Review Workshop, both have 2 spots still available and registration remains open until midnight Thursday Apr 27th.
AnonymousI’m new to SKABC but not new to kayaking. I just finished my paddle canada level 2 up around surge narrows and would love to do more paddling in that area – Quadra, Cortes, Read island areas? I’ve boated around there so know it somewhat? Lots of time in July but my wife is up on Cortez July 10 so would be nice to overlap.
brock lumsdenLorraine SharpsteenTheresa,
I’m not available in July but am interested in moderate conditions, easy pace multi-day trips, so keep me in mind for August or another time.

Theresa DaviesLooking to join or help organize a multi-day kayak adventure for anytime after July 10. Anything from West Coast to local; parameters would be moderate conditions, easy pace, possibly some hiking. If you have an idea or are interested in my ideas, contact me- I’ve done 25+ trips from Haida Gwaii to Granite Falls over the past 20 years.
Jayne HardyAndrea K and myself are interested in a kayak camping trip to Newcastle Island May 26-28, 2023. We will be staying in individual camp sites the night of May 26 and joining participants in the weather course in the group campsite May 27. Potluck dinner planned for May 27. There is no formal leader for this trip so it is only open to intermediate paddlers able to do a wet exit and self rescue. Call Jayne H before April 30, 2023 (so we can book individual campsites for May 26) if you are interested.
Kallie CunninghamHello SKABC members who paddle the BC coastline.
This is a friendly reminder that the Sept 8-10 Surf course with SKILS must be booked by May 18 or we may have to cancel. We will need to cancel the booking if we do not have the required 4 participants registered and paid by May 18, 2023. Two members have registered. There are 2 spots left. If you have questions, please email me at training2@skabc.org.
Nick HeathI was fortunate in getting a previous volunteer (non-member) to join me on this and, despite brutal weather, we achieved more or less what was planned.
There will be future opportunities – BC Parks plan to have the site open for overnight visits by summer.

Kallie CunninghamHello again
Just writing to let members know that a spot has opened up for the Jun 10&11 Boat Handling and Rescues Course. Another example of why members should ask to be put on the waitlist if a course fills up.
In the meantime, happy paddling.
Kallie
John WoodcockThank you – Kallie. Hope the pilot goes well and there is another refresher.

Kallie CunninghamHi John,
This is a pilot. If we fill up and it goes well, and we have demand we will explore whether we can offer it again. Sorry this date doesn’t work for you.
John WoodcockHi Kallie:
Apologies. Should have looked at the schedules…
Believe the VHF Course is 29 April. Too bad. Getting back from kayaking on Sunshine Coast that day.
Will there be another VHF course?
Regards
John W.
