The Spring Fling was May 6 at Cates Park in North Vancouver. About 50 SKABC members came out to paddle in Indian Arm arm and gather for pizza, cake, and a toast to our many years as a club.
Three groups paddled that day -- to Thwaytes Landing, Twin Islands, and a shoreline paddle to Deep Cove. There was a little drizzle but that kept the power boats away and it was a great day to be in a kayak. It stayed dry for the picnic and we had a really nice gathering. Several long-time past members who we hadn't seen since 2020 were invited to the celebration.
