Evan RollHi there!
Looking to rent or borrow Passat double kayak Aug 17-31 – we are a family of 4 – have one passat but looking for a second for our trip in Aug – I can provide repairs in exchange and can reciprocate with loaning our boat in the future if it could be used. Thanks so much for considering!! Cheers, Evan
Cynthia KennedyHello
I’ve held my Martine mobile service identity (MMSI #) for Several years.
I just figured out how to update my information with the Federal agency online. They finally have an online form to change your information such as address, emergency contact, phone numbers, emails associated with your MMSI.I am unable to share the link but search for:

count me in, please.
Kim
Jonas LindgrenI add four hours to the Point Atkinson tide table, which seems to work well in general. The water level of Pitt Lake will affect this rule slightly. I hope that this helps.
Bob MaherDoes anyone know how to figure out what the tides will be for Pitt Lake / Widgeon creek area? Do the Tides at Pitt Lake have a big affect for Widgeon Creek? I paddle Widgeon Creek to the Camp Grounds and the Falls several times a year and only have had really low water in mid July and August after the Runoff has stopped and when we are having an extended Heat Spell. (This year could be different for the runoff due to the low snow pack)
Thanks Bob MaherJune 6, 2024 at 10:17 am in reply to: Registration open for Porteau Cove to Gambier – Day Trip (July 6) #24017Helen ClementI would love to join you. I do not own my own kayak. Is there a place nearby that I can rent? New member, a little out of the loop of how things work.
Thank you, this sounds so exciting.
Jonas LindgrenFor the adventurous members of the club, this is a a full day paddle on the beautiful and challenging waters of Howe Sound.
We will cross over to the Defense Islands, follow the mainland south, cross over to Gambier, follow the Gambier coast line south east, have lunch on Gambier, and return to Porteau Cove via Pam Rock.
