I’ve held my Martine mobile service identity (MMSI #) for Several years.
I just figured out how to update my information with the Federal agency online.  They finally have  an online form to change your information such as address, emergency contact, phone numbers, emails associated with your MMSI.

I am unable to share the link but search for:

Form I — Maritime Identity Application Form: Hand-held VHF Transceivers with DSC and GNSS Not Associated with a Ship Station or Vessel

CHOOSE :

– Modify an existing MI

I received my update with 24 hours
