    Hi Jonas,

I’m interested. I looked at the Marine Forecast and it looks good. What time are you planning on launching?

    Heather.

Hi Jonas – I am interested in July 6 trip to Anvil Island.  I am a former SKABC member who recently rejoined the club.  I have good paddling skills, but I’m not very fast – intermediate level for speed.  I live in North Burnaby if anyone wants to car pool with me, but I have my own car and space for a “guest” boat on my rack. I don’t have a marine radio or a cell phone as I lent both to my husband for a fishing trip.

    Thanks,
Shelley Lear – 604-437-1549 (home tel, landline no text messages).

Definitely interested, company can fend for themselves for one day!  How early is early?  Early early being better than late early.

Launch early at Porteau Cove and circumnavigate Anvil Island. Subject to acceptable wind forecast.

Wondering if anyone is interested in a 5 -8 day kayak trip anytime this month- anytime from July 11 onward- or sooner, if you can give me a ride, as I don’t have my car right now. Preferably the West coast- Deer Group, Bunsby’s, Kuoquot-Rugged Point, Clayquot, or ??. You would need to have some experience in the area and be fully independent. I’m open to suggestions and flexible with dates. Small group preferable- 2-6 people. Give me a call at 778 870 6043 Theresa

Hi. I am interested in buying this kayak as I am a smaller paddler. Is it still available?

    Backsplash 10ft take-apart kayak – $575

Backsplash take-apart kayak. Dimensions, 10’4″ long, 24″ wide. Cockpit is 30″ long, 19″ wide. Professionally constructed of 4mm plywood with epoxy coating inside and out, the kayak is light and strong. Check out the link below for more info on backpacking and overnighting possibilities. This would be a great kayak for a smaller paddler. The kayak is fast for it’s length, very maneuverable and surfs well. Comes with paddle, nylon sprayskirt, throw line, paddlefloat, pump, neoprene hatch covers.
