The club has reserved the group site at Montague Harbour for the Weather course May 10-12. There are 4 extra spots for members who’d like to come camp and paddle on their own. It is $10 per person for the two nights. You’d be welcome to join in on the course potluck Saturday pm.

It’s a chance to camp last minute, socialize, and paddle or explore as you desire. There is no designated leader. Ferry reservations recommended.

To get a spot, log in to the website and use this link to pay: https://www.skabc.org/events-2/exploring-montague-harbour-galiano-island-2b/

If you enjoy kayaking out of Jericho and would like to increase your paddling opportunities, this group may be for you. This Paddling Out of Jericho Whats App group is useful for short notice paddles and gives participants plenty of flexibility.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a SKABC Whats App group. It is simply for anyone who enjoys kayaking in English Bay and wants to launch at Jericho or nearby Locarno Beach.

IMPORTANT: All participants are responsible for their own safety on and off the water.

TO JOIN: Reply to this forum with your name and mobile number or text this info, starting with the word “Jericho”, to Andrea Kovits at 604-379-8833. Once you’re a member, you can add others to this group.

Looking forward to seeing you on the water!

If you’ve been waiting to join in on the crabbing paddle and dinner make sure to sign up! Details are in the event listing. It’s an easy paddle at White Rock Beach and we’ll have a feast in the afternoon.

Hi Zoran, I didn’t see your post until late Friday night. In the future you could try to contact the trip leader directly (and copy in the webmaster) to see if joining late can be arranged without too much duplicate work for the volunteers involved. Hope to see you at the pizza dinner.

    Hello,

I wanted to register for the Spring Fling: Cates Park to Bedwell Bay (2B) but it’s after 10 pm so it seems I’m late.

    Regards,

    Zoran

Wheeleez Kayak Carts do sell their tires seperate but you would have to know the size of tire and axil specifications.

You could also contact MEC., Western Canoe & Kayak, Coast out door and Skyview

Home Depot also has small tires.

    Would Golf Cart Tires work?
