If you need to rent a kayak, get it from DCCK and paddle approx. 1nm north to Strathcona park, but be warned that parking is difficult at both these locations. If anyone is coming, and has a spare kayak, please let Stuart know.

Please send me a text if you are coming so I know to look out for you. I aim to be there early both days.

I see there is another rescue practice happening at Blackie spit if you live in the south, this is wonderful that you have a choice!

Could I sign up for the currents theme day trip on August 8th please?

I don’t have a kayak or any gear as my container hasn’t arrived from the Uk yet.. could I borrow or rent from someone please.

could I also sign up for rescue practice on the 21st? I’d need to rent gear again…

Ive just arrived from the UK and am waiting for my container.. would I be able to borrow a kayak, paddle and flotation device please? I’m happy to pay rent for them..thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me..

Come out and play. Getting wet is not mandatory but highly advised 🙂

Strathcona park parking means we will have to keep the session short, but 2 or 3 hours of practice is enough. Any early birds that get longer parking can go for a paddle after the practice.

We bought the advanced elements advanced frame convertible elite inflatable kayak last summer and took it out on several trips, both for one day or multiple days. It has been a great boat to paddle on the sunshine coast, around vancouver and the island. The kayak is in great condition and comes with all the equipment needed (zip on convertible deck, drop stitch floor, paddles, spray skirts, rudder kit). Asking price is $2500.
