    What size and model is your dry suit? Was the repair work done by Kokatak?

    • Kokatat dry suit about 6 years old, new rubbers neck and wrist, one piece, yellow. I am 5’11” 180 lbs, no leaks. Not sure what a fair price should be. Has the hood and peak. ted in Penticton 250-488-9905 tedkatie42@gmail.com

    Need kayak rolling practice? Want to learn from others? Willing to help others?

    There are already going to be some whitewater boaters doing the same at Kits Dog Beach (Hadden Park) on Monday 16 Sept at 6pm.  I plan to be there at 5pm.

    Attention wait-listers: I am going to increase the number of paddlers for this trip to 40. Those of you who have asked to be wait listed, please go and register ASAP.

    We are going to hold the trip to 40, so this is really your last chance to sign up for this trip.

    Next step will be to confirm who our safety paddlers will be. With such a large group, we have divide up the crowd into smaller pods each with designated safety paddlers. Some of you have already volunteered to lead a pod or be s safety paddler. I will be in touch with you by email.

    Those of you interested in camping for the weekend, please contact me by email.

    Really starting to get excited about this trip!

    Bump! Hey, the forecast for the weekend may be wet, but it’s still warm and we’ve been having some sunny periods too. Looks like it’s just Cam and me for now. Would love to have some more paddlers with us to “inspect” the Howe Sound sites!

    Quirine has offered me a ride so I am good.  Will be available to help lead and will go to the Inn afterwards as I believe Quirine has said she is going too.

    I have been looking at the forecast for this coming weekend. It’s going to be wet, but warm .. ish. The winds on Howe Sound look to be light as well.

    It feels like a great opportunity for a tour of Howe Sound with multiple options if a shuttle can be set up: Squamish, Tantalus, Zorro, Islet View, Porteau Cove (or reverse).

    Or an out and back from Porteau Cove to any of Zorro Bay, Islet View, or Thornbrough.

    Any takers?
