Hello,
Heads up regarding an interesting talk this coming Wednesday…I am a member of both JPC and SKABC,
Pete Curtain
Hi paddlers!
I am excited to announce we will be hosting a presentation by Frank Wolf on November 21 at Jericho! Frank is a Canadian adventurer, film maker, author, photographer, environmentalist, and public speaker. For more than 20 years he has been adventuring, on self-propelled expeditions focusing mostly on the Canadian wilderness, such as an 8000 km canoe journey across Canada, to rowing the Northwest Passage, a ski traverse of Baffin Island, and cycling 2000 km of the Yukon River in the winter. He was named one of Canada’s Top Ten Adventurers by Explore Magazine, named One of Canada’s Top 100 Explorers by Canadian Geographic Magazine, and did a TEDx talk on Adventuring for the Good of the Planet.
You won’t want to miss Frank’s presentation of his expedition ‘Maskwa Nanook’, an 1800 km, 44 day journey by canoe from Saskatchewan to Nunavut.
Tickets are $15 in advance, you can buy them online here:
Tickets $20 at the door. Refreshments will be available and Frank will be selling copies of his new book “Lines on a Map” as well.
