Conservation: Howe Sound Clearcutting

    “The BC Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource Operations (FLNRO) is seeking public input to establish new Visual Quality Objectives (VQO) for logging in the Sunshine Coast Natural Resource District (SCNRD) that could inform logging in Howe Sound for up to 20 years.”

    The current plan will approve clear-cut logging for 20% of the visible landscape.
