FREE KAYAK RENTALS FOR VOLUNTEERS! Next Wednesday, June 5th, Halfmoon Sea Kayaks is partnering with the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association to clear the South shores of Thormanby Island of the ocean debris that drifts up the Salish Sea through the winter storm season. Beach cleanups are crucial for preserving marine ecosystems and preventing further pollution. ”

I’m trying to get more info. I’m hoping to join this effort, hopefully  with some SKABC volunteers. As you likely know, we’re trying to improve things at Simson Prov Park and I’m keen to ‘recruit’ assistance from among these public-spirited locals.
