Looking for a way to get involved with the club? Join the exec as the Secretary. You'll be right in the middle of the action as this is a directorship.
What's involved:
Assist preparing agenda for monthly executive meetings
Take minutes at executive meetings (usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening)
Vote on club policies and spending matters
Field correspondence and help keep the club compliant with paperwork requirements
Assist with keeping online archives
This is a collaborative position with the president, vice president, treasurer and webmaster. If this sounds interesting to you, email vicepresident1@skabc.org for more information, with your questions, etc.
The Trip leader Planning Meeting and Workshop is Sunday Feb. 17. The invitation is extended to folks who may be interested in leading a club trip this year. For first timers, there is an opportunity to get support or team up to co-lead with an experienced member.
The meeting is a collaboration between Training and Trips and features a presentation by Mike Gilbert, former president of Paddle Canada.
