We’ve changed the camping location to Farm Bay from Porpoise Bay. This reduces the number of times one needs to paddle across Welcome Passage, but puts planned ‘pub night’ out of reach. We are hoping for a group of 6 but so far have around 4 participants. The chief task is to erect way-finding signs for the numerous hiking trails at 3 main locations, based on Farm Bay, Drift Bay and Pebbly Beach, so we can expect a mix of walking and paddling to achieve this.
Ferry transport HSB/Langdale could be an issue. Bookings are full on Fri 28 Mar at 07:30 and for overheights at 09:45. Some carpool capacity member exists and one vehicle might travel over on Thu 27 Mar instead, with my small boat in tow. SKABC will pay ferry fares from the Park grant, which must be spent by 31 Mar.
