    Hello,

I am a new SKABC member interested in taking an introductory course to sea kayaking safety. Regrettably, the current Beginner Course coincides with me being out of town, otherwise I’d sign up for the waitlist.

Are there similar courses elsewhere that SKABC members may recommend? I do not have a kayak of my own, so bonus points if rentals are available from the business/organization offering training.

    Thank you,

    Steven M.

Do put yourself on the waitlist.  If there is still a lot of interest there is a CHANCE that another session may be planned.  That is dependent on volunteer availability also.
I know of at least one other person on the waitlist currently.

Deep Cove has great instructors and rentals are available.

Another option is to look at Club Locarno.

Hi Steven: try Jericho Beach kayak or deep Cove kayak for lessons. You should be able to rent a boat from either too

    Cheers, Don Froese
