Metro Vancouver Parks are opening the public engagement process for planning the proposed Regional Park on Bowen Island. It will run from February 10 to March 20, 2023.

I’m reasonably sure that no accommodation will be made for bigger boats. RVs appear to be excluded, too. I’m hoping these principles hold, altho’ there will probably be pressure to accept both. I think it won;t be too hard to make the site accessible to paddlers. Cyclists are already in the scope of the project.

The plan doesn’t address powered craft and moorage of larger boats so that needs o be discussed.
