The Telkwa has long been considered one of the classic Canadian expedition sea kayaks—fast enough to cover distance efficiently while remaining confidence-inspiring in rougher conditions. It’s known for excellent tracking, responsive edging, solid secondary stability, and impressive carrying capacity for multi-day and unsupported touring.

This kayak is particularly well suited to medium to larger paddlers and offers a comfortable fit for extended days on the water. Despite its expedition volume, the Telkwa remains surprisingly agile and rewarding to paddle.
