SKABC’s Beginner Course is scheduled for the evening of June 4 and the weekend of June 7-8. Currently, there are 3 registrants but a minimum of 4 registrants are required by noon on May 28 for the course to proceed. Consequently, anyone that wishes to take the course should register promptly.

This is a practical course covering a wide variety of kayaking topics, including rescues, bracing, a number of strokes, and overviews of clothing, equipment, and safety issues. Consequently, in addition to beginners, this course may be of interest to those who have paddled for a number of years without much training or who would like to refresh their skills.  For more detailed information or to register please  select “Training” on the menu bar of the SKABC website and then scroll to “Course Schedule” on the drop-down menu.
