Hi paddlers!
Asking for advice or ideas:
I’d like to have a mini set of wheels to bring for when I move my boat a short distance, like from my rack at Jericho to the water. I already have a larger sturdy set but would like to have something that I can carry easily when I walk with my gear. There doesn’t seem to be any I can find online. Some DIY options out there but I don’t really have the tools needed and wouldn’t know where to start.
I appreciate all thoughts!

Hi Quirine,
I have a small set of wheels that you can have as I’m not using them anymore.
They’re on a ‘V’ shaped bracket and are strapped to the stern of the boat. Tires are 3.5 cm wide and 17.5 cm in diameter. They’re hard rubber and not too good in soft sand but okay on small pebbles.

Hi Quirine

I have a small cheap cart that I use for moving boats around my garage that I bought from Princess Auto. It’s about half the size of a regular cart. I would only recommend it on hard surfaces with an empty boat. You’re not going to like it on sand. You are welcome to borrow mine to see if it works for you.
