That doesn’t seem to be the case. According to the MetroVancouver website, of the original 95hectares they purchased, 65hectares have been sold to the Bowen Island Conservancy. For the remaining 32hectares, MetroVan has applied for rezoning to allow overnight tenting. That’s how I interpret their posting.
