Our December club meeting will start with Allan Edwin’s year end slide show of SKABC member trips.
After the slide show, we’re very pleased to have guest speaker Elizabeth Purdon from Victoria, BC, a member of SISKA, a PC Level 4 kayaker and Level 1 instructor, who recently circumnavigated Vancouver Island. She’ll share her story of paddling with Freya Hoffmeister on a section of Freya’s latest continental circumnavigation.
This Spring, while most of us were emerging from a cold winter and before travel restrictions changed everything, Elizabeth joined up with Freya in Baja Mexico for 31 days of paddling together. A truly memorable trip brought to life in a slideshow narrated by Elizabeth.
