Location: Cates Park Shelter in North Vancouver, across the Cates Park Kayak rental.
Join us for a VHF-DSC (M) Radio Certification course aimed at kayakers on Saturday, June 6th. This is a one-day course beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 4:00 PM.
You will receive your Restricted Radio Operator’s Certificate upon successful completion of the course, which is required by law to operate and use a VHF Radio. This certificate is good for life.
Course material provided: Course manual
Participants should bring:
- Beverages
- Lunch and snacks
- Pen/pencil/highlighter/notebook
- a VHF radio, if you have one

The course manual, exam, mail costs and processing fees are included in the course fee.
Refund policy:
> Cancellation within 30 calendar days or more = half the course fee refund,
> Cancellation within 29 calendar days or less = no refund.
