When: June 5, 2015 until June 7, 2015
Spend three days in the Gulf Islands developing the skills required to lead a SKABC trip for a day, a weekend or an extended period.
A pre-course planning meeting will take place in the evening on June 1st.
During the course you will learn:
- how to prepare for a trip,
- what equipment to carry as the leader
- how to complete a safety review at the launch site
- how to manage various emergency situations
- how to integrate the group as a cohesive team
- how to preserve the environment in your campsites
