Rescue Practice Session – Saturday June 14 – Registration

When: June 14, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM



This practice session offers members the opportunity to practice their rescue skills for the summer 2025 paddling season.  It will be facilitated by SKABC members.

Date: Saturday June 14 from 9 am to 12 noon.

Location:  Batchelor Bay, West Vancouver

Requirements:

  • Past exposure to wet exists and re-entry
  • Kayak with spray deck and all safety equipment, wet/dry suit mandatory
  • Paddle float and ant other aides you use
  • Gloves, toque, and booties recommended
  • Goggles, nose plug are optional, and may help to increase your comfort
  • Bring lunch and water along in your boat

Special Instructions:  

  • If you wish to practice any particular rescue, please indicate this in the comment section below
  • Please arrive early so we are ready to launch at 9:00 am. Meet with kayaks on the grass.

Parking:  At the time of posting, parking is free. However, carpooling is recommended.
