Rick Davies’ presentation description:
In May 2015  Jaquie & I ran a SKABC evening “Over 50’s kayaking”.  We offered 32 tips and techniques to make kayaking much easier for everyone, not only those over 50. On Monday November 6, we will build on those 32 tips and enhance them with further techniques we have gathered since 2015. The evening will be interactive and you are welcome to join in and add any tips that you have found useful. We’ll all benefit from our collective knowledge, as we have so many time in the past.

We all want to make kayaking an enjoyable and comfortable experience. This evening will do just that, concentrating on all those small physical and mental discomforts, many of which have simple answers. For example, extend your tent vestibule by rigging a tarp over the entrance so you can stand while stripping off your clothing on wet days.  Also dig a pit at the entrance to your tent or use a log so you can save your back and sit with bent knees to strip off your boots out of the rain.

I look forward to our evening in November……….Rick Davies
