Knots and Tarps – Course Registration

When: March 18, 2017 from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM



You will learn about different types of ropes and how to tie useful knots used while kayaking and kayak camping. You will learn to use the knots to set up various tarp configurations and how to hang a suspended food cache.

During the morning of this one day session you will learn about different types of ropes and how to tie a number of useful knots used while kayaking and kayak camping.  Time will be spent practicing tying these knots before lunch.

During the afternoon this knowledge will be used to set up various tarp configurations.  If time allows at the end of the tarp session we will hang a suspended food cache.

If time permits, we will hang a suspended food cache.

Fee: $20 per person
We recommend packing a lunch and snacks.
