SKABC relies on its members to provide training and trip opportunities; together we make this a great kayaking association. SKABC will hold its annual Training Program – Planning Meeting from 3-5 pm on October 21st at the Hollyburn Sailing Club, Ambleside Park, West Vancouver. Anyone interested in getting involved in the training program is invited to attend the meeting.
We will review the 2017 courses and establish a framework for the 2018 program. Instructors, Assistant Instructors and Course Coordinators are always in demand and it’s a great way to get involved. If you have ideas, skills and knowledge you’d like to share to improve and expand the 2018 program or if you’re curious and would like to find out more, consider joining us on October 21st. This is a great way to get your feet wet and develop valuable relationships. Instructing is rewarding and a wonderful way to meet other club members. Come and join the team.
You are welcome to stay for the Volunteer Dinner afterward, which is always fun.
