Please join us on Newcastle Island in opening the Salish Sea Marine Trail!
Co-hosted by BC Marine Trails Network Assoc and the Snuneymuxw First Nation. We’re hoping SKABC and other clubs will plan paddles converging on the opening event or full-scale Salish Sea Marine Trail voyages over multiple days. – On the weekend itself there are so many choices of fun games and events, training sessions, skills practice, day paddles, inspiring speakers – all for a very small fee! !
This is a big, ambitious marine trail project for our BC coast. Come and celebrate with us!!
More information is on the BCMTNA website including a registration procedure, information about what you can expect such as specific meals, how to get there and so on. There will be evening entertainment for Saturday. SKABC needs at least one 4 paddler team to compete against other clubs!
Each club contingent might set its own prerequisites for its on-water events. You are welcome to attend with your club group or independently as a BCMTNA member.
