WaterWalker Film Festival Night via Zoom — Part 1

When: February 26, 2022 from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

We are pleased to present the first of several free virtual film festivals for our members. There will be opportunities to socialize with friends and/or to meet some new people, and to watch three excellent films from the WaterWalker 2021 Film Festival.

The event will start at 7:00 in a Zoom meeting. First, there will be fifteen minutes to socialize with other attendees in your choice of breakout rooms. Then, at about 7:15, you will be given a link that will allow you to access the films on Vimeo. All you’ll need to do is click on the link and then on the play icon.

The first film is an hour long. When it has finished, there will be an intermission of about fifteen minutes during which there will be an opportunity for more conversation in the Zoom meeting. At the end of the intermission, you’ll be given a link to the next two films. They are shorter and will play back-to-back on Vimeo. Once they are over, it will be back to the Zoom meeting one more time for your last chance at conversation.

Here are the three films that will be shown:

Six paddlers attempt to make the first recorded descent of a little-known river in northern Quebec across an imposing landscape of snow, tundra, and white-water rapids.
