When: March 24, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Please note the change of venue, the course will be held at Panorama Park in Deep Cove. That’s on the North side of the Government wharf at the covered gazebo, next to the washrooms.
You will learn about different types of ropes and how to tie useful knots used while 
kayaking and kayak camping. You will learn to use the knots to set up various tarp configurations and how to hang a suspended food cache.
During the morning of this one-day session you will learn about different types of ropes 
and how to tie a number of useful knots used while kayaking and kayak camping. Time will be spent practicing tying these knots before lunch.
During the afternoon this knowledge will be used to set up various tarp configurations. 
If time allows at the end of the tarp session, we will hang a suspended food cache.
If time permits, we can review how to securely tie your kayak onto a vehicle.
