Weekend long trip with camping at Granite falls at Indian Arm and cooking session in nature by Vincent.
The group will cook dinner as a group. Vincent will buy the ingredients for the dinner and distribute them on the day to transport to the campground. Cost of the dinner will be shared by the group. Menu and other details will be supplied on registration
After dinner river paddle: Saturday afternoon the tide will be high and will allow us to paddle into the river passing the brackish water.
Camp site has a pit toilet and a food cache.
Trip Classification: 2B- 2C
Trip length: 9 NM each direction (river exploration extra)
Launch Location: Deep Cove.
Parking advice: parking in most of the area is payable now. There is a section where parking is free, those who registered will be advised.
On the Water: at 10:00AM
Required Paddling Skills / Gear: Intermediate level, wet or dry suit recommended. Ability to do assisted rescues.
Potential Hazards: Potential for strong winds.
Leadership style: Paddlers are expected to stay together in a group (within sight and hearing distance) while on the water.
