When: May 30, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This practice session offers members the opportunity to practice their rescue skills. It will be facilitated by SKABC members.
Date: Saturday May 30 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Location: Batchelor Bay, West Vancouver
Requirements:
- Past exposure to wet exists and re-entry
- Kayak with spray deck and all safety equipment, wet/dry suit mandatory
- Paddle float and ant other aides you use
- Gloves, toque, and booties recommended
- Goggles, nose plug are optional, and may help to increase your comfort
- Bring lunch and water along in your boat

- Please arrive early so we are ready to launch at 9:00 am. Meet with kayaks on the grass.

Parking: Parking for 3 hours is free on Dufferin Road. There is unlimited time free paring on Marine Drive with stairs to the beach (unload your kayak before parking) Carpooling is recommended.
