Paddle Canada I Course

When: June 20, 2015 until June 21, 2015 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This course provides the skill and knowledge necessary for day long sea kayaking trips in sheltered waters (non-wilderness areas within one hour’s reach of medical care). Successful completion of Level-1 indicates competence to paddle a sea kayak within a sheltered bay in the company of one or more paddlers with Level-1 or greater skill and knowledge.

All members interested in attending this course should contact the Instructor, Steve, at sgbarnes@telus.net before signing up for the course.

This course includes an on-water component and all participants must be familiar with and comfortable performing a wet exit and basic paddle strokes.
