Harrison River Day Trip

When: October 19, 2013 from 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM

This is an all-day outing. We meet at 9am at Harrison Hot Springs and unload kayaks. Cars are then driven to the take-out at Kilby Regional Park. Paddle is an easy float from the lake down the Harrison River almost to its confluence with the Fraser River. Watch salmon spawn, see First Nations ancient pictographs. We stop at the sacred rock near the Chehalis reserve for lunch. Should be off water by 4:00 pm. Most of the group then continues on to the local Sasquatch Inn for a pub dinner, so save the whole day for this event.
