Fraser River Hope to Agassiz

Kayak down the Fraser River from Hope to Agassiz Sept 21st 2013
Meet at take out point near Agassiz Rossdale Bridge
Takeout meet here at first: Take Hwy 1 to the Hwy 9 North turnoff (Aggassiz – Rosedale Bridge). Follow Hwy 9 North to the last turnoff turnoff (Aggassiz – Rosedale Bridge). Follow Hwy 9 North to the last turnoff before the bridge (right side of road). This is the Rosedale Ferry road. Follow the road as it turns left under the bridge and continues along the riverside about 500 meters to the entry to the take-out. We’ll leave some cars here and continue upstream to the launch in Hope
Launch at Hope: Follow Hwy 9 back to Hwy 1 and continue east to the turnoff into the city of Hope. Take Water Ave to the t-junction at the end, then turn right onto Rupert and take the next left onto Wardle Street. Follow Wardle as it veers right, past Allison Ave. The launch is on the left on a wide flat rocky beach.
