Location: Ambleside Beach East of the Hollyburn Sailing Club ready to launch at 9:00AM.
Spend three hours on the water improving your forward stroke technique. Participants must be comfortable performing a wet exit, re-entry and assisted rescue. Bring along a tow rope (if you have one) and wear appropriate paddling clothing for immersion. We will go over other strokes and practice some rescues in the afternoon. Bring a lunch or grab something close by.
Please email Chantal, the Clinic Coordinator, to identify the paddling style (Euro or Greenland) you want to improve before you register for the course. Chantal may also be contacted if you require additional information regarding the course. Videos are excellent teaching tools, if you would like a video of you paddling as a tool to improve, consider bringing your phone or camera along and Chantal will film you.
