Description: Join Philip for a circumnavigation of English Bay, including crossing from Locarno Beach to Siwash Rock (3 nm) and up False Creek to Science World.

Trip Distance: 12 nm
Launch Site: Trimble St. parking lot, Locarno Beach, Vancouver. Arrive in sufficient time to be ready to go on the water at 9:00 AM.
Required clothing: Wetsuit or drysuit and winter paddling clothing, including warm gloves and headwear.
What to bring: Water and food. Thermos flask with a warm drink is recommended.
Participant responsibilities: Abide by “Your Responsibilities as a Participant” on the About our Trips page on the Trips menu. Successful rescue practice (self and assisted) completed within the past 12 months.
Parking: Pay parking in Trimble St. parking lot and on NW Marine Dr.
Registration Opens: Feb. 8, 2025 at 08:00 AM.
Registration Closes: Wednesday, Mar. 5, 2025 at 05:00 PM.
