The beginners course teaches the basics of kayaking equipment, safety, and navigation. Instruction is given on paddle strokes and rescues.
This course is for all beginners but in particular persons intending to pursue advanced Paddle Canada qualifications. A Paddle Canada Level 1 Certificate will be provided on successful completion of this course.
Prerequisites – Paddle Canada Introduction to Kayaking Skills certification or equivalent skill and knowledge. If you have previous experience please contact Barry with the details.
