Alouette River, Pitt Meadows 1B

When: February 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM



Paddle up slow moving Alouette River to Bordertown.  Stop for lunch/snack.  Bordertown is an old western movie set.  There are still some structures to look at. After lunch and exploring , paddle back.  This is a beautiful river with lots of wildlife to enjoy.  Bring your own snacks, lunch and water or something hot to drink

Meet at the Silver Bridge parking lot at Harris Road and Alouette River (bridge is no longer painted silver!)  Parking lot is on the south side of the river.

Requirements:  Must be able to self rescue.  Wetsuit or drysuit required.  Group stays within sight and hearing distance of each other.
