In early January 2026, several brave members came with me by water taxi to Simson Park, staying in the nearby cottage of Mr. H, a long-time member of the Buccaneer Bay Holdings Ltd group. I believe all 5 of us enjoyed it. There is always work to be done there. This year, I’m contempleting moving some materials and finishing erecting trail signs, rather than further trail brushing. It could involve walking on rough trails, carrying stuff and some use of hand tools. Nothing has been arranged yet, but I’m curious to learn how much member interest there might be for a 3 day visit some time in December, January or February. Most non-food expense will be covered from our Park grant money.
Please let me know and give your availability and any other preferences. I’ll gladly answer your questions, too. Nick.
