I enjoyed a SKABC trip there  in 2011, took Bruce’s water taxi from Port McNeil. We stayed in the main lodge and made our own meals in the communal kitchen. Highlights included Echo Bay and a tour of Billy Proctor’s museum, three days kayaking around the various island groups, a short hike behind the Inn to a reservoir lake for a refreshing swim. Saw many whales from the water taxi and a couple of bears on paddling routes. There were fish farms amongst the islands. Beautiful location and the Paddler’s Inn was well maintained and comfortable.
