Join Ken and Maureen for an interactive workshop. We will be replacing deck-lines and stretch chord, showing how to add a grab handle for more efficient rescues. If your deck-line is worn, so will be the line on your carry toggles. We can replace that too!
DATE: March 21, 2026
TIME: 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm bring lunch and water
Parking is on the street and limited, so we will offer a morning and an afternoon session. Please car pool if you can.
COST: $20.00 for the work shop and $40.00 for materials
Deck-line is 5mm reflective at 90c per foot
Stretch chord is 4.8mm marine grade at .80c per foot
If you have tools, please bring them, marked with your name.
Tables are available to work on. Please bring foam cradles to balance the kayak, and saw horses if you have them. Long nose pliers, locking grips, scissors, lighter
Kayak wheels to get your kayak from the car to the workshop.
