Meetings & Events
About the Meetings
The club meets on the first Tuesday of the month to discuss club business (e.g. upcoming trips and training sessions), view slideshows and presentations, learn from speakers and demonstrations, and enjoy the fellowship of cameraderie of club members.
The club's library is available for loan at meetings, and from time to time bulk-purchased items are available for sale, such as club shirts and safety equipment.
September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May and June meetings take place at the Vancouver Museum (1100 Chestnut Street) on the first Tuesday of the month.
Meetings start at 7:30 and end around 10:00 pm. The room is open at 7:00 pm, allowing time to catch up with old friends and make new ones before the start.
July and August meetings take place outdoors at Locarno Beach, usually with a BBQ.
There is no club meeting in December; a Christmas Party takes place instead, on an alternate date.

BBQs may be held the 1st Tuesdays of July and August instead of regular monthly meetings. Details will be posted as soon as available.
