July 1 drive to Zeballos, Water taxi July 2 from Zeballos into the sound.
Water taxi July 8 to Zeballos – In Vancouver by Saturday night (9th) at the latest.
Participants must be comfortable paddling in open ocean conditions and completing channel crossings. Immersion gear is a must as is the ability to do self and assisted rescues. Must have a reasonable level of fitness (paddle ~5-6 hours per day), as well as a spirit of adventure and resilience in the face of (potential) adversity.
