Barnet Marine Park to Cates Park (2B)

When: May 16, 2017 from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Meet up at 9:00am at the lower drop off zone. When you turn off Barnet Hwy keep to the right side of the road as you turn the corner and drive down the hill and cross over the railroad tracks and unload your kayak and gear in the marked drop off zone then you will park your car in the designated areas. Car parking is free and available in 2 upper car lots. Washrooms & change rooms available.

Launch by 9:30am. The wind directions will determine our route. We may paddle along the shoreline to the Marine Terminal then cross over to Cates Park for our lunch break then return crossing over to Belcarra following the shoreline to Admiralty Point Park then crossing to Barnet Marine Park. You must be able to do self and assisted rescues. There is room for 6 people to join co-leaders Patti Gordon and Steve Barnes.
