Ambleside to Lighthouse Park (2B)

Launch Location:  Ambleside Beach at the foot of 13th Street, just east of the Hollyburn Sailing Club.

Duration: Approximately 4 hours

Distance: Approximately 10 NM (18 km)

Trip Classification: 2B

A perfect day trip to flex your paddling muscles after a long, cold winter! This is morning paddle along the West Vancouver waterfront to the Point Atkinson lighthouse. There are many possible stopping points along the way for a picnic snack/lunch. Moderate winds and currents could be present and we will be traveling in shipping lanes so please be prepared. Immersion gear (wet or dry suit) is mandatory and participants must be able to do self and assisted rescues.
