Organized trips, ranging in duration, skill and difficulty level, are held throughout the year. Our philosophy is we are groups of “common adventurers”. Rather than relying on the services of a guide who is the first aid person, the cook, the navigator, the weather forecaster, etc., all trip participants contribute their skills and are involved in decision making. The benefit of this active approach is an increasing skill level and better understanding and appreciation of the marine environment.
Trips offered vary each year and full details of current trips are available to SKABC members. In addition, members frequently meet other paddlers through SKABC. SKABC is a great place to upgrade your kayaking skills and to connect with other paddlers.
Members, please log in to this website to access the Events Calendar which has upcoming dates for club trips. Starting in the 2012 season, members will also be able to sign up to receive notifications of informal Short Notice Call-Out Trips.
